YOU CAN FIND CONNECTION HERE. Here's how we do it.
We’ve said that every individual is cherished, and we’ve talked about joyful service, being reconcilers, healers, servants, and about building a vibrant and intellectually alive community of faithful Christians. This is how we do it. It's called the "Warm Welcome" event, and it's crafted to introduce you to the heart and soul of our church family. We invite you into conversation during these bi-monthly one-hour events, where listening takes precedence. Share with us your aspirations and the path that led you here, and what kinds of support you need on your unique faith journey. A member of the congregation will become your liaison and First Friend, guiding you through the steps of becoming an integral part of our church family.
Let’s get into conversation about your faith journey. There are many circumstances that can lead you to a new church. You may be moving to the area for jobs. You may be a young adult evolving your own faith journey. You may be exploring a faith different from what you grew up with. You may be spiritually or intellectually curious about the Living Christ. You may be seeking effective ways to build spiritual community in the world. Let’s talk. We believe we can enrich each other’s paths.
Come as you are -

St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church desires to serve Christ by serving our neighbors. "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me." Matthew 25:40
St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Chapin, SC exists as a witness to God’s grace. We believe that through Jesus Christ we are meant to serve God faithfully and joyfully, each other, and our neighbors.
Our belief is that all of God’s children are special and unique; we believe in the sacraments and scripture, anchored in tradition and reason. Our community is welcoming to all as we embrace our vision of social justice, peace, love and understanding.
We connect to the word of God through meaningful preaching, teaching, music, and Holy Communion. Worship services are open to all who want to share in God's word and grow spiritually. Through study of the Bible, together we discover the good news of Jesus Christ’s love.
