The Christian celebration of Pentecost is on the 9th of June this year. St. Francis will have two services as we have in the past. The 10:30 service will be a special event. In addition to Pentecost, the church will recognize its youth and, in particular, this year’s high school graduates. The “Play It Forward” strings will help the choir and congregation celebrate. “Play It Forward” is a new initiative sponsored by a St. Francis parishioner to inspire students in sacred and secular classical music on high-quality instruments. At 4 PM, the annual church picnic will occur on the grounds of the church. All are welcome and encouraged to attend and enjoy the celebration and the company of good friends.
