Dear St. Francis Family and Friends,
It seems that all of us have made it successfully through another week in the Season of Sheltering. As of yet, we have had no one from St. Francis contract COVID-19, and for that we can be very grateful.
As usual, I’m providing a link to the services at our Washington National Cathedral:

We all owe a huge debt of thanks to Joseph, who has struggled ALL day to finally get our video to upload … multiple technical difficulties today. We had to divide the video into two parts, so here are the links:
Link to Part 1 and Link to Part 2 to the video in our own Sanctuary, recorded Saturday morning, containing a reading of the Gospels for Palm Sunday, my homily, a few brief announcements, and the Prayers of the People including the names of all who are on our prayer lists.
As all of us experience the challenges and threats of the COVID-19 virus and make necessary changes in our daily lives, we all must adjust and adapt. Please let us all hold one another in prayer, be particularly aware of the different ways in which life is being impacted for each of us, help one another as we are able, and remain loving and faithful.
Our parish office will remain open unless we are ordered to do otherwise. Please continue to call or email us new names to be added to our prayer list or any announcement you would like to be communicated to our family..
Here is the message from Finance which I was supposed to send before, I mistakenly sent the wrong one.
While we are all practicing our social distancing routine, unfortunately expenses of the church continue without pause. Since we are not meeting at this time, here are some details about how you can continue your support remotely.
The first option would be to use your bank’s Billpay or other bill payment options. Most payment systems will allow you to set up either a one time or recurring payment. All you need to do is setup a Payee for St. Francis with the following details:
St. Francis of Assisi Chapin
PO Box 265
Chapin, SC 29036
If there is an account number field, just enter your last name.
You can also mail in your check to the address above if you would prefer.
The next option would be to use our new online giving tool on the website. You can direct your contributions to Pledge, Gifts No Pledge or to Memorial gifts using PayPal or your favorite credit card. One time gifts as well as monthly recurring options are available. Below is a link to the online giving option on our website:
